It has been nearly a year since our access road went in and we still haven’t started building. The intervening months were filled with huge frustration trying to get the building warrants for the houses. For the sake of our sanity, I won’t go through it all again by writing down the whole saga. Suffice to say the building warrants finally came through in November 2013.
Since then we have been doing a tender process to find a building contractor. This is now complete and Osprey Construction will be starting the build on Monday. They have already put up a sign and the site fencing has been delivered. So, after over 3.5 years of ‘building our owns homes’ it looks like some building is actually about to start!
